Liquid level detection
A stable detection of the level of liquid in a transparent tube is needed to prevent unneccessary stops of the process.
Challenge
When you detect the level of liquid in a transparent tube, bubbles, drops or mucous liquid may cause detection failure as this causes overflow or shortage of liquid, which stops the process.

Solution
Omron's optical method enables stable detection due to area sensing fibers that are not influenced by bubbles of drops. Capacitive sensors are used for opaque liquid or tubes and photo-micro-sensors for low-cost solutions.
