OMRON’s E3AS Series offers new ways of using reflective photoelectric sensors to reduce equipment commissioning time. The new sensors provide stable reading of any shape or color, offer standard mounting, feature an OLED-display and... no reflectors are needed! This will reduce commissioning time radically.

In our current economy it is hard to acquire a skilled work-force. With the multi-purpose E3AS-series it is no longer required to know your way around many different sensors. OMRON offers just one sensor solution for all your sensor problems. Furthermore, the new sensors are extremely simple to implement and operate.

Connected

OMRON's new smart sensors are equipped with IO-Link V1.1 providing monitored data from field to control level and vice versa. This helps to improve production efficiency thanks to predictive maintenance and data acquisition. Additionally it also enables manufacturers to reduce stock and handling cost.

The E3AS sensors are able to detect any physical material, no matter if it concerns transparent, shiny, matte, round or perforated objects; even with irregular surfaces. The sensors feature the longest detection range by size in the market, in combination with the best performance.

The E3AS-HL distinguishes itself with mutual interference protection. Providing stable detection even with a close distance between sensors. Furthermore, the robustly housed sensor prevents false detections due to vision lighting and sunlight with an ambient illumination resistance of 20,000 lx.
